Green Card Through Marriage

Hi,
I am a Green Card Holder. I am thinking of marrying an H1-B visa holder.
Looks like a tough situation as far as applying for Green card for the spouse as it will take 5 to 7 years.

Anybody know about this law that is supposed to treat the spouses of Green Card Holders the same way they treat spouses of citizens.

Its not a law. Its a bill through senate/congress which is not a law yet. Don't hold your hopes high on that.
