green card stamp question

Hi,

I just got stamped last month and am thinking about going out of the US to visit some other countries. I don't know when I'll get the plastic card so I'd like to know if the green card stamp is the same as the plastic card? Will I have any problem coming back using the stamp? Please let me know.

only switzerland reqires plastic card (as their website said), all others with stamp will be ok.
