I am a US citizen. My wife used to hold a green card. We moved to India in 1997. We had got an extension on my wifes green card till 2001. Further extension was not granted as we applied for the extension after coming to India. I would like to know if I can renew my wifes green card or do I have go through the whole application process

Is your wife back with you in US now?You may need to start the process all over again by filing Form I-130.Since you are a USC its an added advantage for her. Good luck!
