Green card renewal with name correction

My green card is close to its 10 year expiry . While preparing the I-90 application form I found out that the name on the card is

Name1, Name2

with Name1 being the Lastname and Name2 being the firstname. All these years I thought that it was vice-versa i.e. Name1 is the firstname and Name2 is the lastname.

Well in addition to renewing my card, I need to get the name alsi reversed.

Is there likely to be any problem in this?

What documents are they likely to request in support of my name correction request?

Check out

which shows the name pattern as it appears on the card
The one at the top is First Name, Last Name and the other at the bottom is Last Name, First Name

You may want to confirm your name is really reversed before applying for correction ... just a thought.

In th elink you provided, I see one sample green card which is a Permanent Resident card. I have the "Resident Alien" card and I don't see a sample of that kind of card.

I think you are right, it's last name 1st then, First name second.
