Can anyone help me?
I've been a permanent resident for over 26 years and unfortunately, I have one criminal (felony) conviction from 1991.
My green card is expiring soon and I need to renew it.
Some people tells me that I will get deported if they do background check while processing my renewal application. Is this true? Could that be possible even if my conviction was 15 years ago?
