Green card received and timeline ......

I today received my actual green card in the post, I thought it might be useful to some if I advised the timeline especially due to reported delays due to new printers.

23 June 09 - Interview at the Orlando Service center (Morning)
23 June 09 - Received an e-mail advising card production had been ordered (Afternoon)
26 June 09 - A 2nd e-mail confirming card production had been ordered
30 June 09 - Letter arrived in post welcoming me to the USA
06 July 09 - Actual green card arrived in post

All in all a very efficient and speedy process.

Hope this info helps some of you.
 
It would help if you posted WHEN your filed the paperwork and what your receipt date is.

ps: there is no such thing as an Orlando Service Center.
 
The information I am giving here is in response to the recent delays in card production and not the whole process. Interview to Green card in my hand in under 2 weeks is pretty good in my book.

As for the Orlando Service Center or whatever you wish to call it....... I am referring to the new building on the corner of Lee Vista Blvd and Swissco Drive which is where I had my interview.
 
Thanks for posting. Number of people got approved, but GCs are taking forever. May be CIS is finally getting back on track.
