Based on the current rate of approval, Most of the 2002 I-485 applicants will get the GC with in 6 to 8 years and most of the 2003 I-485 applicants will get the GC with in 8 to 12 years.

I really do not forsee getting PR with the year timeframe although I have a congressional office investigating for me. Therefore, I vote:

"I don't accept these estimates, my estimate will be posted as reply in this thread"

And of this, I am UNCERTAIN when the application will be approved.

Edison, I do not agree with the estimates and also there is no use of any guesswork since CIS does not follow any logic or pattern. What we need to do is to take a concrete step so as to pressurize CIS to speed up processing time. Otherwise we all will be sitting here for god knows how many Months/Years discussing about EAD/AP approvals rather than I-485 processing time.

People who met Prakash Khatri in Chicago should post their comments. I think we all are lost in a big ocean confused about our destination.

I never believe in such estimates, that's why I strongly advise everyone to contact local congressional office regarding backlog.
