My wife recently got her J1 waiver approved and is going to work in california as a doctor.
She is supposed to work at the same hospital for 3 years on H1b .
My I 485 is pending approval ( receipt date : sept 2002).
Due to the terms of the waiver , I cannot add her to my I 485 AOS.
My lawyers suggested applying for her Green card using Following to join (FTJ)after 3 years - which would guarantee her EAD etc.
How feasible is Follow to join in such cases - even when the spouse is in US?
what are the other options ?
