Green Card Never Received..

My I-485 application (for adjustment of status) was approved in April, 2001. (My passot has been stamped) But I have not received my "physical" card yet. I called INS and they told me that they forgot to print it before sending it to the national repository. Now they have requested the file back and it is taking forever. I asked them whether I should file a new I-90 form, but they suggested, I should wait. Does anybody know about this kinda problem? What would you suggest should be done to speed up the process??

I feel for you. This has happen to my father since approval in 1998, and still nothing. I exhasted all my energy for this, and still no luck. This year he is applying for Citizenship.

Good luck man I realy do feel your pain!
