Green Card marrying H1

Hi,
I am an US permanent resident living here for 4 years and 5 months. I am planning on applying for my citizenship in April. But the problem is that I am getting married this summer. My fiancé is on H1 visa from her employer. Although his green card is in process but it will be about 2 years before he can claim a permanent residency in United States.

My questions are:

Can I still get married in summer even though I wont be a citizen by then?
How is us getting married going to effect his green card process?
Can he still keep his H1 status?
If I am not citizen by the time we get married, will he still be eligible for green card right after the wedding?
How long does it take to get citizenship?
How does the process of getting green card after marrying a green card holder?

Hopefully I can get answers to my questions. I have heard a lot of different rumors but want a certain + definite answer.

Thanks.

The waiting time to get your citizenship depends on the Immigration District office who has jurisdiction over your application.

You can go to this link https://egov.immigration.gov/cris/jsps/ptimes.jsp? to check the processing dates.

Mine, took 7 months from the time I filed my N-400 to the time I took my oath.

Sure you can get married with him.
How is us getting married going to effect his green card process?
It doesn't effect anything to his H1
Can he still keep his H1 status?
Ofcourse
If I am not citizen by the time we get married, will he still be eligible for green card right after the wedding?
No. If you don't have much time left to become a citizen, I would suggest you apply for his GC after you become a citizen.
How long does it take to get citizenship?
Depends on which is you DO.
How does the process of getting green card after marrying a green card holder?
File I130 and wait till visa number get available and then you can file I-485 when visa number is available or you become a citizen, whichever happens first. You can find much more information on this kind of cases by searching through this forum or even INS website.
Hopefully I can get answers to my questions. I have heard a lot of different rumors but want a certain + definite answer.

Thanks.
