I am a green card holder and am planning to marry a girl in US who is on 5 year multiple entry visitor visa.

After getting married, can I file for her immigration for permanent residence without her leaving the US. Can she live in US while her application is in process for approval?

If not, What are my other options
Please update me.

Thanks,

Spouses of green card holders have to wait upto 5 years to become permanent residents. During this time the spouse has to maintain valid non-immigrant status. If she is on a visitor visa, she should leave USA before her authorized period ends.
She cannot live with you in the US while her application is in process unless she can qualify for a longer term visa like H1 or L1. She may also have difficulties in future visits as a visitor if INS finds out that she is married to a US resident.
