Green Card Marriage Interview Questions

My husband and I have our interview coming up on Nov 5th. I'd like to run 2 questions past you guys:

1. I realized today that I wrote the wrong name of the port of entry where I last entered the US on my I-765 and I-485. I entered by car, and the port names are similar (Northgate vs North Portal). How do I rectify this? My first instinct is to tell the interviewer at the start of the interview. Or do I wait until it's asked while the interviewer verifies the info on the forms? Don't say anything?

2. Is the criminal record of the US citizen spouse called into question? My husband was a dumb teenager and got thrown in the drunk tank a couple of times in high school and college. There was also an incident involving 'contributing in the delinquency of a minor' for having beer and a 20-year-old college friend in his vehicle when my husband was 21 (he's now 35). We've searched for his criminal records online and nothing comes up. It's never come up when he's crossed the border into/out of Mexico and Canada. All the incidents took place in small town Texas, it's possible there were no records... do we need to dig up these records?

Thanks in advance for any insight!

Yes, you can correct the name of the port of entry.

You husband criminal history is irrelevant, even if he had killed 12 neighborhood dogs, served time in prison and killed a warden while there, your immigration process won't be affected by his criminal business. However, your criminal history is a different ball game all together. Americans can be hardcore criminals, USCIS won't be bothered...

good luck..:)

Sag,

Congratulations on your GC!! Of course, I am roughly 7 months short of warm congrats...but who cares? As I mentioned, his criminal history is irrelevant, but refrain from being an accessory to the fact...lol!! Happy married life to you two!!!
