green card for parents

It's been almost a year since my company applied for my green card. Can anyone tell me approximately how long is the wait going to be?
Also how soon can I apply for my parents green card. Do I have to wait until I have mine? They will be coming to the US to visit next year. Will it be possible to apply for their green cards during their visit even if I haven't received mine by then?
Any help will be appreciated.

You have to be a citizen..

You cannot, repeat cannot sponsor parents for green card until you are a US citizen.

Regarding your green card, it all depends on which catyegory (RIR non RIR) and region you applied in. At an average it takes 2-3 years to get a green card.
