Green card for mother when another GC application is pending

Hi, I am planning to apply GC for my mother. I am a US citizen. However, her mother (ie. my maternal grandmother who is a US citizen) filed I-130 for her 2 years ago. The dates for this are not current. Can I now apply a new I-130 for my mother? Should the previous I-130 be withdrawn? thanks.

Yes, the previous one has to be withdrawn. It will be much faster if you file for her than her mother.
