Green Card for Baby Born Outside of US

My daughter Born out of US and my wife brought her to US on December 2013 the officer at POE applied for her GC and stamped temperory i551 on her Passport. i got a letter on january 2nd week from USCIS (details mentioned below) .so far we didnt recieved her green card and we moved to another address and we change the Address with USCIS.my questions is, is it safe to take my daugter out of the country?are they going to ask to bring my her to USCIS office when we out of the Country.We also applied Re entry permit for her and others and we did the biometrics for re entry permit.When i checked the Status last week in USCIS SITE it sayed we mailed you a letter in January and your card will be mail within 60 days,after changing the address now Same site says We mailed you a letter in February and your card will be mail in 60 days.please help

The stamp on her passport serves as a temporary GC and can be used to travel in and out of US. How long will she be gone?
 
We hope to stay more a than year.already applied for Re entry. but is take more than a year to arrive the GC?
 
GC should arrive in a few weeks. Where have you requested re-entry permit be sent? Your change of address might be the reason for delay, green card might have been sent to the older address and was returned to USCIS since to cannot be forwarded.
 
NO they didnt send the GC to old address for sure.i checked the staus of GC at USCIS all the time and it didnt say card produced.and these days USCIS says there is delay for 30-45 days due to massive applications.i request to send the Re Entry permit to my home country Embassy.

The online status is unreliable. Sometimes the card will be sent without the status changing to show card production or card mailed.

Once the baby's reentry permit is received, it may be used to reenter the US without the physical green card, even if the I-551 passport stamp is expired.

In the same situation but for us we didn't get the temporary I-551, instead his passport was stamped ADMITTED XN-3 and got the same promise of GC will be mailed to the address we gave at the CBP. We came back to clear things up and had planned to re-enter again before 6months in march. The problem is, we are yet to finalize things and have been forced to push forward the date of travel to July 2013. We hope we won"t have problems doing the re-entry with him at the CBP since we have never received the GC for him.

Did u get a Welcome letter? i got the babies Social Security card also. i learnt one thing that is if you change your address while green card is under processing, they start the processing from the beginning.i dont know this until i change the address.

Yes, we got the welcome letter for everybody else but nothing about him. We didn't change our address. If you read my post, i said we came back to our country of residence but my address is still the same in the US.
