I am in USA on H1B for the last couple of months. I am thinking of applying for green card.
I am worried about employment verification check. I have worked for about 6 employers so far. 2 of them are closed down. I had a massive fight with 2 employers. That just leaves 2 clean employments.
In fact even gettting H1B was a pressure time. Luckily I was in Europe hence no employment verification was made.
So how serious are these guys about employment verification during green card application process? If I file my application next month then when will the verification be made? I am thinking that if the verification goes after 2-3 years then I might get lucky because by the time my ex-managers (where I had fight) may move on to other jobs.
What I am planning to do is to show my self-employed during these troubled employment period.
