Green Card Education Requirement

Hi,

Is Bachelors Degree a mimimum education requirement for filing Green Card? I only have a Diploma Engineering from India which is a 3 years Technical Education and is equivalent to Associate Degree in the US. Am I eligible to file for GC through my employer? I have 10 years of experience. Does this experience count towards the education? Pls. let me know. Thanks.

Thanks for your reply. I just found out that I cannot use my present company's experience. In that case, I only have 7 years of experience in the same Technical field as I am working now. Is that sufficient?

When my company applied for my H1B, based on my education & experience they evaluated as equivalent to a Bachelors Degree in the US. Is that samething applicable in the case of GC? Pls. let me know. Thanks.
 
Yes It is true, You can not use your current job experience, but you can still apply for the Labor Certification & GC. Your Company/Attorney will draft the advertisement for the Job perfectly matching your qualification / previous experience.
