Green Card Application Forms I -131 and I -765 Question

Hi,
I am in the process of finalizing my green card application through my husband. I have prepared the following forms:

I-130 package - filed by sponsor.
I-485 package.
I-693 - sealed envelope containing medical examination from civil surgeon.
I-864- Affidavit of Support, filled out by my sponsor and supporting documents.
G-325 A-for applicant and beneficiary.

After reading through the forms I noticed that petitioners also included Forms I-765 and I- 131 to the mailing package.
Currently I am working on a H-1B visa( good till 2014) and not planning on leaving the US until I don't get my green card. Do I still need to file these two forms?

Please let me know if I am missing any forms?

Thank you in advance for the help!

No you don't need to fill those forms. However they are free and won't cost you anything to fill them though and in the unfortunate event you get laid off before your green card approval, you can seamlessly switch to using the Work Authorization to apply for other jobs without the restriction.

I've been on H1B before for six years so I know sometimes the rug can be pulled from under your feet without much warning.

Cheers!

Thank you

Thank you for the reply. In the USCIS web site it says both forms are around $300 each. I did read somewhere that if filed together with I 485 they are free, but I wasnt sure. Can you confirm that if filed together with I 485 I dont need to pay the fees?
Congrats on your green card!
