I am under the 1 yr period before the expiry of my current H1 (it expires 15 July 04). I recently joined a new firm. I have a Ph. D in business (rated by Educational Credential Evaluators as being equivalent to an American Ph. D, not currently working in this area though). I am in software industry now and recently completed my MS in Computer Science in US. I have a US patent issued and another would be issued shortly. What is the best way of applying for a green card? I heard that there is a National Interest Waiver category for applying green card. Could I apply in that category?
