Hi Great Guru, you seem to be extremely knowledgeable regarding these matters.

The question revolves entirely around the random selection process. For the August 10 petitions, will ALL petitioners receive a receipt number and only after will random selection process be done?

I'm sure you can see the dilemma. I have received a receipt number for my premium processing August 10 petition (receipt notice date august 11), but have not heard anything yet. If random selection is only done AFTER all the receipts are generated, then having a receipt does not guarantee being included in the quota.

I have the same query.
Can you please let us know if we have receipt nos dated aug 10 then are we in the cap or is our approval still subject to cap by random selection ?
If so, has random selection procedure already been finished ?

no hope for aug 10 receipts

Only 25 out of 500 applications have been approved by TSC in PP. Chances are there will be rejections for most of the applications received on aug 10 ...if you have applied for premium processing u can call premium processing center and get the information.
