GRe-entry to US pls Help!

Hi everyone,

Can anyone help me? I' m a green card holder. I left US for 1 year and 6 months with a Re-entry permit to Study abroad . I went back to US just before my Re-entry permit expires. I stayed in US for a week to prove that I'm not abandoning my GC status. After a week I had to leave again and finish my remaining Semester of my Degree, without applying a new re-entry permit. I am now planning to go back to US after finishing my Degree. Which I stayed outside US about 10 months.

Is there any problem on my entry to US about my situation? Since the USCIS said that you cannot stay outside US more than 1 year without Re-entry permit. Which i had only 10 months.. Can anyone help me?? Thank you!
 
Returning within a year doesn't mean you're automatically safe. You may still need to prove your ties to the US, and show that you were studying overseas and not working.

I can bring my Transcript from my University and CA Driver's license a as proof right? Last question , Is there gonna be a problem on my record of travel since i only spent only 1 week in US after I came back and before I left the country?
