Graduation date issue, F1 to H1, no OPT

My case is a bit complicated.

I will be graduating in June 2008 with a MS degree. Also, I exceeded 1 year in an internship (CPT) so I have lost my OPT, though I have not used all of it. I understand I will be in the MS quota, but will it be too late if I graduate in mid- June 2008? I was told I can have my university issue a letter confirming I will be graduating in June 2008.

Also, my F1 visa expires in July 2008. What can I do about the status gap?

Please! I will appreciate any help regarding this - especially with regard to the latter of completion since I graduate only in June 2008.
