Grace Period & H1 Revocation

Hi...,

My company laid me off last week & I am still waiting for my new company to file H1 (premium processing) . How many days does INS allow me to stay before I get out of status.

Secondly, if my earlier comany tries to revoke my H1 , will it affect my new H1 status/processing?
