I have been laid off by company effective 1 march 2004. My company lawyer sayss that I have no grace period after they notify the INS. Is this true?
If so what will be the repurcussions that I can expect from INS.
I intend to stay only 1-2 weeks after termination. WIll this cause any problems if I were to apply for a work permit later on?
My I-94 has expired but there is a petition pending before the INS for H1b extension. I have the receipt but the petition has not been approved yet.
Can you help me here?
