I finally got my alien registeration card. It has been a long process in which I waited 10 years and 6 months ( i applied in october92). I wish all of you the same and also wish for Congress to pass a law that allows asylee to get their green cards in a much shorter time than it is now. I will stay in the forum and share my limited experience with the help of Gilbert who knows much much more than i do. I am sure that this will not work for canterbury but i forgive him for his continuous insults of me. I understand how it feels not to have permenant residency since the quality of my life has drastically changed since i got my approval letter.
