I really don't believe that my journey God willing is about to end very soon .
I had very complicated case from the beginning but I feel that I was blessed so every thing went smooth .
First I'd like to thank every one who had share their experiences in this forum and special thanks to (JOHNNY CASH ) who I learned a lot from his postings which was always to the point .
My time line was as followed
NYC
Receipt notice 04/20/05
Finger print 05/10/05
interview date 12/13/05 passed the history test and I was handed the letter with decision will be mail .
oath next week .

I am thrilled to learn that you have gotten your oath. Listen man, you got what you deserve, you believe in God, you believe in destiny, and you were destined to being a proud US citizen. You earned it man! :)

I hope that your feelings are true about me getting the oath soon.

Congrats aboud2004,

I remember you, having an arrest record and the case eventually got dismissed, my question is: - were you actually arrested (i.e. finger printed, photo taken, e.t.c) or you were only charged with out arrest record?

Please advise as I also had a dismissed case and was never arrested.

A dismissed case has no effect on your citizenship application even if you were arrested or not because you were proof innocent by the court of low,It may take few days longer just to get supervisor approval as it happend to me . When I mean dismissed case means that there were no deals with DA just the charge was dropped .so don't worry about this it will not effect your application since it was dismissed .
