I have been a silent reader of this forum and have found answers and support to all 485 issues. Myself and my husband got the magic email yesterday(June 25th) " Notice to welcome the new permanent resident' . Our case details are below
We opened SRs for both of us on June 5th. We got reply back for my husband saying that he was stuck in Name check. We thought something was wrong since we got an email a year back his case was waiting for officer assignment. So, he got an infopass yesterday(June 25th) at 8 in the morning. The IO at the local office said that all the checks were clear and NSC should not have any issues resolving the case. At 9.30 in the morning, we got the magic email saying that the welcome letter was mailed on June 23rd itself. In other words, I don't think anybody in USCIS know what is happening to the case unless its the IO handling the case itself.
