Got the H1B approved,but employer didn\'t send the papers for stamping.

hi All,
I was in US on L1-B visa.Once my project got over,my parent company called me back.Before leaving US, one American company agreed to file my H1-B.
Presently i\'m in India working for my parent company.I\'m constantly in touch with the american company.I once got one mail from their lawyer saying that my H1B visa got approved.He also send me INS number.

Now the problem is,they haven\'t send the H1B papers which i will need for stamping.And also they r not telling that when they will send the papers.
Question is can i use this INS number for applying to other companies and tell them that i have got H1b visa?
Please Help!!!
