I was really hoping i would not get an RFE but just checked my email and voila! request for more evedence...really nervous, wonder what they want, just want an end to this nightmare!!! :D

But if you ask me, getting an RFE is much better than getting nothing, (which is my situation)! At the very least, they are working on your case!! Good luck with it!!!

You also should happy too that they didn't transfer ur case to L-Office.

RFE is usualy EVL tax W2 pay stubs. or status 00-00 date. what is ur concern about RFE?

Not sure what my concern would be, it is just the surprise issue, will i have what they ask me? could be anything :confused:

Don't worry about it,

Just prepare and get ready

EVL

1040 transscript -
its free u can call or send from to irs it would take 10 days so save ur time. or u can go to IRS office near u and certified ur 1040 copy. for last two year.

prepare all other possible docs, if all docs are ready u can reply quickly to get apporval quick :D .

Good call! :), you never know so i just ordered the transcripts by phone, better be prepared than caught by surprise!

by the way, you guys know who gets the RFE? me or my lawyer?

That totally sucks! I had gotten a 2nd FP notice because it was supposed to go to my lawyer but the address was wrong and they resent it but to me.I hope if that happens, they forward it to me.Oh well, after 14 days i will know...

I am long time silent listner of this forum and this forum is veru helpfull in lot of ways.
Pardon My ignorence here. What EVL means.

I also have a situation where I got RFE recentley asking for pay stubs and medical (The doctor didn't fill all the necessary fields). Here is my concern. The address on the pay stubs is different than the address I gave to INS when I filled my I-485. Now is that going to be a problem? any advice in this concern is really appreciated.. Thanks in advance for your help..

EVL = Employment Verification Letter

don't worry about address on paystub, has to do nothing with ur old address mentioned in 485.

Still have not received my notice (neither the lawyer) and it has been 14 days already! :mad: Oh well, i decided to call 1800 and ask them what can be done about it. According to the nice lady that i spoke to, a notice was mailed to me yesterday (04/25) :)

So hopefully this reinforces my line of thought regarding what happened to my FP notice. The lawyer's address was wrong and the notice got back to INS and then they forwarded it to me, i am feeling better now, just for a moment, still a bit anxious on what kind of documents they are asking me to provide.

Just got the email message :

On April 25, 2005, the document we made based on the approval or
registration of this case was mailed directly to the person to whom issued.

It means an RFE is on its way hopefully to my home address now, finally
