I have been ticketed for speeding violation(driving at 85 mph in the zone of 65 mph -- fined for $75.00)My I-485 is pending with VSC while currently I am working in Iowa and I was given the ticket in IL.(My driving license has been issued in the state of WA) I am still to be FP\'ed.I am not going to the court for the appeal.I am sending the check for the required amount. My question to all of you is -- when I go for FP will it catch such offence ? or is it pardonable offence. When I filed my I-485 , I said \'NO\' to Part 3 ,Question 1(b) which says " Have you ever,in or outside the US been arrested, cited, charged, indicted, fined or imprisoned for braeking or voilating any law or ordinance excluding traffic violations? Does the traffic ticket , in any case, affect the approval of I-485? What should I do at this point. One advice I got was to go to the driving license office of IA and convert the license to IA driving license and take the corrective classes which lasts of four hours and then probably, just probably, might erase this traffic violation. I am very worried at this point and need some sound advice.
Thanks,
EB-3 Applicant.
I-485 filed with VSC in Feb 2000.
