Hey guys, i'm filling out all the forms right now but i've got a few specific questions about what to put down. I've searched the achives and FAQs but I can't find anything about filling out the forms specifically. So if someone could either answer my questions or provide me with a link to somewhere where I can find these instructions.
1)The A# on my EAD from my OPT will that number carry on into my AoS case? So everytime the forms ask for my A# is that the one I put down?
2)And my current CIS status is F1 student correct? Is class of admission the same thing (i-131)?
3)Also why am I applying for permanent resident status?- It doesn't give the option for people who married USC's but didn't enter on K1?
4)Where on my visa do I find the actual visa number? It gives a control # and SEVIS #, which one do I use?
5)My wife is not applying with me is she? She’s a USC?
6)On the I-130 is None or N/A as fine answer for example when asked for A# or previous husband name, or overseas address (I’ve been in US for 5yrs as student so no address back home)?
7)On I-130, what is the date I-94/5 expires considering here on F1 visa?
8)My wife and I want to go to Europe for our honeymoon but don’t know exactly when, what should be put down on the Advanced Parole forms with regard to departure dates etc?
9)On I-864, getting the household size, if my wife is sponsoring me, in Question 21 she puts down 1 immigrant from line 10, herself, spouse. But since immigrant and spouse are the same, is one just ommitted when adding the lines?
10)Does it matter if I fill out the PDFs on the computer but fill out stuff with a pen too if i've left a box clear? E.g. since I am not sure what to put for my A#, can I fill that in by pen later on before I send it off?
Also how can I prevent RFE from happening? Are there things I should attach to the forms e.g. Lease, Insurance papers, W2s? Or is it entirely upto CIS' discretiong to request RFEs? Frankly I couldn't care less as to how long this process is going to take as long as my EAD arrives before my OPT expires so I don't go broke waiting.
