Got RFE yesterday

We noticed a hard LUD on our 485 cases (spouse and me) yesterday.

Current Status: REQUEST FOR INITIAL EVIDENCE SENT, CASE PLACED ON HOLD

On October 2, 2008, we mailed a notice requesting initial evidence in this case. Please follow the instructions on the notice to submit the evidence requested. Meanwhile, processing of this case is on hold until we either receive the evidence or the opportunity to submit it expires. Once you submit the evidence requested and a decision is made, you will be notified by mail. If you move while this case is pending, please use our Change of Address online tool to update your mailing address.

Any Idea who will be receiveing the RFEs? Will it be me or the Attorney? Not sure what the RFE is for though hoping it would be for the birth certificates.

Gurus - please advise.

Did you send back your RFE? Did they receive it?

Reason I ask...we sent out a response to our RFE on 10-7 and haven't received an update since...nothing even saying they received it.

Congrats...

Congratulations, you are very close to approval. Hoping this would be sent to attorney first and very minimal, should be approved soon.

Yes, we sent the reply on 10/8/2008 and the status has been changed to ack. the reply and processing resumed. The last LUD was on 10/13/2008.

Thank you. Since my PD is not current, i am really not hoping anything will happen on the processing, I will rather wait to see my PD come current and followup if nothing happens.
