Got RFE for AOS wac-02-134-****

The RFE is about W-2s and employment letter. I wasn't expecting this so soon. I was sincerely hoping that the my AOS will get delayed more, as I'm still not married... Damn

boeing777, be da man! Respons that you won't reply to RFE till BCIS process all cases before your case.
 
FP was done in July last year, so it's not expired yet. And I just recently applied for EAD extension (in April). Also applied for H1 extension in May. Nothing unusual about my case....
 
Oh, there IS something unusual...I heard a rumor that if you are single and file for I-485, BCIS officers have been told to suspect you are pretty desperate for LPR status, and always raise an employment verification RFE.

Only, can't figure how they pull 02-134...
 
I don't understand your logic. Why should single guys be more desparate for LPR than married couple? Infact the reverse should be true.. Anyway, I'm sure there are many other single people waiting for AOS approval. Why are they not getting RFE?
 
Good point. May be I should post my photograph here too. Any single girls in similar situation can contact me...lol
 
Even if I were a girl, I wouldn't want SM's pic because I am married. Nor am I a gay male. But this is not about me.
It is about single men who are still not approved. According to niladri's theory SM should have been approved a long time ago. According to Boeing and Soumy the IIO is also a single woman who approves any good looking guys she sees. (pun intended).
As a result, SM need not worry about me and start preparing for a decent pic to impress the officer IF he is not reasonably good looking.

People usually get married before applying for I-485 since nobody wants the hassle of trying to get a spouse in later as the process could take years.

So BCIS assumes that if you are single and still filing, you have some urgency about getting your GC NOW!
