Got REF, So Sad

Hello, everyone,

I was noticed by e-mail that additional evidence is requested after I upgraded my e-filed EB1a I-140 at TSC. I don't know the details in the letter yet. I know my case is not strong (please see my previous post), but still feel sad when I saw this e-mail. I have several questions:

1. what's usually requested by TSC?
2. what's the time limit for responding their request?
3. how is the chance to get approved after REF at TSC?

Any advice/suggestions are appreciated.

sorry to hear about RFE ... when did you upgrade to PP?... hope you did not PPed you case before sending supporting docs... looks like season for RFEs started !! I am scared :( .. keep posting and good luck ...

Don't worry you will get enough days (i guess 60 days) to ans rfe ..

Sorry to hear that but I agree with pana that season of RFE from TSC has started. Most RFEs are very general as officer are overloaded with PP applications which have 15 day deadline. Any way to answer your questions ;

1. Mostly it will be general asking for same eveidence again
2. 90 days
3. Good chances :)

Did you apply yourself or through attorney? Also you or your attorney should have got the fax or email about the RFE. Lets know the details when you get it.

Don't be sad.......as I got 2nd RFE this week for PP application. Just relax and reply to the RFE once you know what they want.

Hello, GC_SEP2005,

I filed by myself. I e-filed on 02/24/2007, and then mailed the supporting materials on 02/26/2007 by USPS priority, which was delivered on 03/05/2007. I then updated to PP on 03/06/2007 by USPS priority. the LUDs are: 03/13/07, 03/14/07, and even today (03/14/07). So, my supporting materials should be received by TSC before my PP, and they reviewed my file during 03/13-14, and made the decision of requesting additional evidence on 03/14/07.


A question:

If they ask for general things, can I re-submit the same supporting materials?

forgot to ask you, did you receive the details of request by e-mail or FAX? I didn't provide FAX number in my petition, but just e-mail. In the e-mail, they didn't mention any details.

If you didn't provide any fax no then they will mail it to you the RFE.
 
agree with Ajasha

Yes if you did not give any fax number then you have to wait for the post. Post the RFE when you get and there are so many good people here to help you and guide you.
