Got receipt for 7/23 filing

I just got the receipt notice for I485 for myself and I131 for spouse. I filed 485/131/765 altogether for myself and spouse on 7/21 and delivered on 7/23. Checks have been cashed on 8/20. I hope I will receive other receipts later on.

There is Alien # on both receipts. Is it mean I got my visa #? I heard that I will have A# only if I140 has been approved. But my I140 is still pending now.

Anyone has any opinoin?

Any new filing of 485 gets a file number. Which is also Alien or A #. It just means that you petition is on file and this A# will be used on all the forms for you EAD, AP etc.

Has anyone got their receipt number (filed in TSC)?

couple of questions.
1. Where is your 140 being processed?
2. Where was the application sent (NSC or TSC)?
3. Was the application transfered from or to any of the service centers?

That's right and the A# will eventually on your GC as your GC#.
 
anyone with RN from nsc?

hi to you all

NSC recieved my application july 26 ( by postal confirmation) but i havent recieved my RN yet. nor have the checks been cashed
Does anyone got the number ?
