Got the green (plastic) card itself in the mail today (05/09/2002)!
I have to say looking back now, it went "relatively smooth". No RFEs,
got it within two years and even the plastic card went smooth for
me. I will continue to monitor this site and if I can be of any help
to new immigrants, I will post my take on things. Times are getting
tougher but don\'t lose faith: they NEED us to keep that great
economy going, even if things are tough right now! And please don\'t
be scared about this breaking of INS into two. This is just for
political show and I don\'t think that things will fundamentally change.
Again, the almighty dollar is the ultimate dictator in all of this.
