Got my receipts. Why can't I find them online?

So, I got my receipt notices today (I-130 & I-485). I'm very happy about that!

But, I have a little problem here... I tried to look them up online (USCIC website) and add them to my portfolio and, for some reason, I can't.

Is that normal? Does it simply take some time for the system to get updated? Or, is it a bad sign?

I would appreciate some reassuring words, because I'm freaking out a little here...

Patience. USCIS takes a while to update their online database. Its not a bad sign, you're just being introduced to how useless Case Status Online can be.

I started to worry, because I remembered reading that some people were able to check their status online, even before they got their NOAs, based on the numbers stamped on their checks alone. Well, I guess I'll just try to chill and wait...
