Got my passport today!

Applied for my passport last week (03/24/05). Did pay additional fees $ 60 + $27.30 for expedite service with express mail both ways (even though I was not in any hurry to get the passport, I did not want to part from my naturalization certificate for too long). Got my passport today (03/31/05).

Congrats. I had my oath today, and I have also applied for passport today with expedited fee ( $ 60 ) but without the overnight fee. I am counting my days.

What mean is "expedited fee " ? Can you explain?

How about applying for regular service??

Has anybody applied for passport without expited service?? If so, how long did it take to get the passport for that regular fee? I know someone who said he got the passport in 10 days, although he did not pay extra fee for expedited service. Is that possible?? Thank you for your input.

Expedite fee is for priority processing in addition to the normal passport fee.
