Got marrlied while waiting for interview

My naturalization application is stuck on the name check since June 2007. Meanwhile, I recently got married. My husband is US citizen. Do I still need to send some kind of documentation on the change of my marital status?

If you havent had your interview yet, you'll have the chance to update your marital status during the interview process.

Tell the interviewer that you got married, and bring the marriage certificate to the interview because they might ask for it.

Did you change your name yet? If yes, you should update them about it at or before the interview because it means they will also have to do a name check for the new name. If you didn't change your name, you can change it as part of the naturalization process and they will not do another name check for it, but it may mean your oath could get delayed by a few weeks because for name changes you have to do a judicial oath, not the regular administrative oath.
