got married before my spouse file for AOS

I've been living in the US for more than 7 years (out of status now for more than 3 years). Now just got married to someone who will file for AOS. She said she can add me in her filing. Am i safe now? What problems will I encounter with the USCIS when she files for AOS with my name as her spouse?

please share your infos..
 
so including my name when she files for AOS wont do me good??? Cant i adjust my status with her since now i am her spouse?
 
Don't quite understand your signature. You are adjusting status...right? AD shown is for EAD (765 Form) and not 485 correct?

Also who's primary? You or Spouse or Independent from each other.

Not quite certain you can file for two 485s.
 
Exactly who are you mate.

Just few days back you asked about your family ( wife and 4 kids) out of status due to non renewal of H4.

Now you have just got married ?

Not to get in to family issues but your mails can confuse a lot of people if they look at your past postings.

pinoyin LA thinks we r all idiots

ppl here wasted a week to give u advice on all sorts of issues with ur family being out of status and what not n now u come uo with this.........i dont know about n e one else but from now i will not respond to n e nonsense u put up here
 
Sorry about the confusiong.. this case if for my cousin.. he doesnt want to create another username so he used mine..

He just got married to someone who is about to file for adjustment of status.. but he has been OUT OF STATUS for more than 3 years now. His wife is filing her adjustment of status any moment from now... His wife is the primary.

PINOYinLA - Your cousin's 485 might get denied....

One of the most commons reasons for 485 denial is - more than 6 months of out-of-status stay in USA....the 6 months provision is offered by 245(k) law and is counted from the last point of entry into USA, before filing I-485...
 
thats what i thought so too after reading most of the stories here and this forum helps alot in giving ideas on what to expect. I myself is now looking for a lawyer who is an expert for my case but still no luck in finding one.

I envy you guys who have little problems.
