Hi, everybody.I have a question: i just got married,i have a pending asylum approval (with recommended letter) so i have ssn but i want to change my last name for my husband's, can i go to ss ofice now before i send my immigration papers,or i should send the package first? Please,help if you happen to know.thanks

I not am sure if I am understanding you. Are you saying you have recommended asylum approval, and you got married....that is ok.....so do you want to apply for greencard through your spouse? or you wanna stay with your asylum route and change your name?

thanks Faysal. and yes, i am going to apply through my husband(us citizen),I have been waiting too long( almost 2 years) for my final approval and still no results. Do you know what i should do next?
