Today was the last day after which Schedule A visa were going to be Unavailable and guess what...I got my and my husband's approval today... :) I am all happy. Thanks to my congressman who was sooooo good and was on the back of USCIS all the times and pulled this through. His office called USCIS everyday for the last 3-4 weeks. Had a lot of hick ups in the journey as my visa got rejected once last year because of technical mistake of lawyer and then my fingerprints got lot and had to get them redone last week and was loosing hopes. But guess all is well that ends well. Last but offcourse not the least...thanks to all the well wishers and friends in this community...thanks for all the support and knowledge..If you guys have any questions please feel free to ask.

i have question for you. if you take a look at my signature you see a series of LUD after they got my RFE response. And then everything is so quite. i am from non-retrogressed country and so far i didn't have any other issues.
Can you throw some light on what might be happening or a chance for me to get an approval soon?

yeh that happened to me too. It can be becuase of your backgroud checks. Does USCIS has your most current fingerprints. Ask them if your backgroud checks are done and your fingerprints are current.

Another day passed waiting for CIS blessings!
Yup, I had my finger prints done on 5/18/2006 and I beleive it should be the most current ones they have ( usual LUDs after the finger prints). But regarding name check i am in dark. All i can say they pulled my file as per the usual time they normally take to pull 485 for a decision after 1-140 is approved which ,in my case was October 2, 2006 that resulted the RFE.
Will it be wise to collect an infopass at this stage? Any suggestions?

Talk to your areas senator or congressman. If they are willing they can pull anything.
