Hi Guys,

Our case got approved yesterday,

We had received RFE on our case on Mar 22, 2004, We responded on April 9th, Online message got changed on April 13th stating that they have recieved our RFE and on 19th April we got an approval.

Cannot believe this, within one week of responding to our RFE, we got approved.

RFE was for 2yrs W2, 2 months paystub, and company letter

My case details

Rd Dec 21, 2001,
2nd FP Aug 2003,
RFE Mar 22 2004,
RFE responded on 9th April 2004,
Online message changed regarding RFE receipt on April 13th, 2004
Case Approved yesterday Apr 19, 2004

Guys, cannot express how happy we are. Will post some more details later.

BTW, yesterday we did our stamping in Chicago. It was very simple/easy. No need to go early in the morning. Let me know if you have questions.

Fanshan, what was your RFE for? I guess your countdown begins as well?

You also had your 2nd FP's done in October.

What is your "last updated date" in your bcis portfolio?

Welcome to the "case approved" club. For those December 2001 RD filers still waiting, your approval is but a few days/weeks away. As they say, keep the faith.
 
Sanjay, you got the approval in 4 days of applying to the RFE. maybe your adjucation officer should handle everybody's cases!!!!

Tufan, My "last update date" was 4/19 yesterday, and 4/20 today. Looks like they are fumbling my files everyday, or some bug in the system. How about you

Fanshan, i am sure there some development on your case based upon what you have mentioned of movement of dates. Unlike you my case is not updated on 4/20/04. The last update after receiving RFE on 4/16/04(online message), is 4/19/04.

So.. there's GOOD news ahead for you just like GC_DEC_2001. I hope you also get an approval this week or something.

The online message takes a while to update because it waits until the notification for RFE/approval/whatever is sent out. Therefore, i am thinking that may be they updated are cases and who knows it's awaiting notifications.

Let's be optimistic. Please keep me posted.

Fanshan, you made me curious and i checked my portfolio once again. This morning "last updated was 4/19". Around 2:30PM in the afternoon it's 4/20.

Hope something good comes out of it!!! Will keep ya posted.
