Folks,
Just a few moments ago I got the magic e-mail regarding my I-140/I-485 and wife's I-485. Below is a summary of events.
Houston-TX- EB-2-RIR
LC
Ph.D. Civil Engineering from a prominant US college.
Started advertising on 11/20/2001
Sent the LC to TWC on 04/16/2002
TWC approval 07/18/2002
LC Approval 03/20/2003
I-140/I-485/I-765
04/22/2003
1st I-765 Approval 07/21/2003
FP 07/31/2003
2nd I-765 06/10/2004
My boss called USCIS on 08/11/2004
Faxed a letter to USCIS on 09/09/2004
My lawyer should have contacted USCIS yesterday.
Got the approval e-mails on 09/14/2004
No LUD change was noticed at all.
As for my forum friends, I am getting the feeling that USCIS is trying to avoid repeated fingerprinting in the approval process. It may be my boss' call that helped here. May be my fax helped too. Thank you very much for hanging around with me in the forum and I sincerely hope that your days are not far away.
Aaah sweet smell of freedom!!!
