Got interview letter today

. Praises be to God. I cant beleive they sent me the notice for the initial interview so soon. my interview date is for Sep 7 at 9:00 am at Garden City NY. My only question is, where is that? Anyway I am just thankful that my case is moving this fast.
 
WOW!

You're just a couple of weeks ahead of me (I'm in NYC as well).
I suppose I should have my interview in September as well, even though I haven't received my FP notice yet.

I still can't believe how fast NYC DO became!

Well, let's not complain......
I think I wasted $180 for my EAD.... :p (PS: who cares?)
 
I received my interview notie today as well - August 30, DO S.california

Thank you Cateach I appreaciate you sharing your interview experience with me when it comes up. I think I also wasted my money on the work permit but I am still hoping that it comes before July is out as I really need to get a job :) . Anyway I will keep everyone posted on my progress.
 
Wow it seems like a lot of people get their interview much quicker than they think....in my case I have not only applied for EAD but for AP as well, if mine comes in so quickly I would lose like 350 bucks...however would not be too upset if it comes that early :-)...what are the processing dates for your DOs guys???.... I am trying to see if the dates for my DO are not acurate and there is a chance my letter is coming soon... :-)
