Got interview in LA

I have interview coming in LA in february. Currently my student visa has expired though i have a valid I-94. Would this cause any problem with canadian immigration interview?

Are you on OPT? If you are then you can also show your EAD card. But this should not be a big issue during the interview.

Have you ordered your CAIPS notes? If you have not then I suggest that you do so now to get an idea about why you have been called for an interview.
