Got Interim EAD

I had filed for EAD in last week of Oct'2003 at Vermount for me and my wife after 90 days I called Hartford, CT office for Interim EAd they told me to come after 104 days of Receipt Date because after 90 days period i have to wait 15 more days (they believe web status may not be correct in some case and 15 days waiting for Card issue and postal delay)

I appear personnaly for EAD on 105th day I got token number and waiting...after 3 and half hour waiting my turn came.
Lady on counter ask why are you here today ?
I replied for Interim EAD
she ask 104 days passed?
I said Yes

Then I gave new application form with copy of receipts (yes copy...My attorney have original receipts)

she didn't ask anything not even photo ID. and approved!!!! and we got EAD after 15 Minutes.

pls send this info to be posted in Immigration.com's link about Interim EAD policy in different centers. Everybody who wants to go thru hartford can make use of it
 
I-EAD questions

Can you please list all the documents that are needed for I-EAD?
Is 120$ needed in money order? What about photos? How many are needed? And what is the expiration date of I-EAD? (another 3 months or a year?). The form you filled up was same that you filled for EAD or I-EAD has different form? And above all what is the best time to be there in newark office...Its heard they allow only certain number of people for I-ead per day..is that true?

I went there with all documents but they didn't ask for single document except copy of receipt.

For Interim EAD they took digital photo after Approval.

If you applying fresh then yes Money Order is ok $120 but if it is after 90 days case then you don't need to pay fees again.

I got EAD duration 1 year. yes it was same form.

I have no idea about Newark office....Mine was Hartford, CT
