Got Interim EAD at Memphis

I went today to the Memphis INS office and got temporary EAD valid for eight months.
EAD RD: AUG 21, 2002
It took about 4 hours, and they gave me a new card. I had to show the receipt notice and turn over my old card. Also I had to fill another I-765.:D
 
When was your current EAD expiring ? Did you take anything else with you like letter from employer, passport etc ?
 
My current EAD expires Dec 17, 2002. I took my passport, but they did not ask for it. I did not take any letter from my employer.
You need to show some kind of state issued ID or your passport.
 
Do you need take additional photographs? Do you need to take a cashier's check for $120? Mainly what I am asking is do you need to pay the application fee again?

No you don't need any photographs, atleast at Memphis Center, and also there is no additional fee.
Yes I waited past the 90 days from receipt notice date to get the EAD.
