Got Interim EAD at Cherry Hill, NJ office

Hi All,

Just wanted to share my experience regarding Interim EAD at Cherry Hill, NJ office:
My EAD renewal application was pending with BCIS since Nov'2003. I went to the Cherry Hill, NJ office and got the Interim EAD approved. It was over 90 days since my EAD RD but, not over 90 days since EAD ND. I was asked to present the following docs:
I-765 application,
Original old EAD,
Original passport,
Original SS card,
Original NJ driver's license ( as a proof for resident of NJ)

I didn't have to pay any fees and also I
didn't have to give any photos. It took about 5.5 hrs. by the time I reached there to getting the actual EAD card.

congrts!!!! .Did they asked for i-140 approval copy.

Philly officers are mad person. They want i -140 approval copy

BTW what is validity p[eriod

The office didn't ask for the copy of I-140, neither he asked for the copy of I-485. It is valid for about 8 months.

How to decide which office(newark or cherry hill) to go?
Any idea whether these offices are closed on wednesday?
Do we need to take an appointment?
What time did you go?

>> Cherry Hill office was closer to my house than the Newark office, so I decided to go to the Cherry Hill office.

>> Yes, the office is closed on Wednesday and also on Federal holidays. The hour of operation for Cherry Hill office are 8AM - 2PM.

Do we need to take an appointment?
>> No. You can just walk in and you have to take a number.

What time did you go?
>> I went there at about 9:00AM, got a number (5X). But, since the room was full, the security officer asked me to come back after an hour. When I went there after 1.5 hrs. I was allowed to get in.
