got green card

Dec.15th,2003, I went to INS for 485 approval, and had a stamp on my passport, the officer said it needs at least 6 months to receive the green card, but fortunately, the green card has been mailed to me yesterday(Jan 6,2004)

i didn't check the message after i got the stamp, and i checked now, the message has been changed as:
On January 2, 2004, the card order was completed and we mailed the applicant's new card directly to him or her. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this card, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283.
